FREE Community Seminar

Who Should Attend?

Discover new ways to understand, get informed and gain a broader view of Adverse Childhood
Experiences (ACEs) and resiliency to help the children and youth in our community.

Featuring nationally known speaker Derek Clark, “The Rapping Dad”

Dr. Terry Brooks, Executive Director and Shannon Moody, Policy Director, of Kentucky Youth Advocates

Viewing of nationally acclaimed documentary “Resilience - The Biology of Stress and Hope”

Brandon Harley, Audubon Area Services

11:30 – 12:45  Lunch and Viewing of “Resilience” Documentary (Box lunches and beverages provided)
The documentary “Resilience” chronicles a movement that is fighting back against adverse childhood experiences. The film features trailblazers in pediatrics, education and social welfare who are using cutting-edge science and field-tested therapies to protect children from the long-term biological effects of toxic stress.
